PrimeGenesis conducts custom, on-site workshops for as few as 3 participants and as many as 300 at all management levels. Custom onboarding workshops are appropriate for organizations that want to fully integrate onboarding prep workshops with internal process or culture. Organizations that plan to onboard more than a few people usually enjoy a cost benefit when they choose a custom workshop over individual participation in the PrimeGenesis Executive Onboarding Prep Workshops. Custom workshops have the added benefit of creating participant cohorts, which is a great way to build culture and community among newly-appointed leaders.
Approach
We recommend a process built around three modules:
LEARNING
Executive onboarding frameworks and best practices. This module sets the new leader up to take charge of his/her onboarding.
NEW LEADER’S 100-DAY ACTION PLAN©
Participants complete a personal New Leader’s 100-Day Action Plan. Participants, idealy, work in partnership with a Human Resources representative, which kicks-off an important working relationship. PrimeGenesis facilitates process. Because preparation breeds confidence, just doing a 100-Day Plan puts the participant ahead. When Human Resources joins in partnership, participants feel particularly valued and valuable; they interpret the allocation of resources as confidence in their ability to make a significant difference to the organization.
PRIMEGENESIS VALUE ADD
While we facilitate every step of the workshop, we intervene to add critical value at three points:
a. Mapping Stakeholders (up, down, across, inside and outside). Our experience equips us to identify often overlooked relationships.
b. Discovering the Leadership Message. People are rarely able to discover pivotal leadership messages on their own. Our experience gives us insight.
c. Creating the Day One Entry Plan. Day one is a new leader’s first and only chance to make a first impression. We have crafted so many day one entry plans, we know what communicates and how.
